Covenant Class Part 2

If you are a newcomer to Creekside and want to find out more about Creekside and who we are, then this 2 week class is what you want to check out.  The two 1 hour classes are lead by 2 of our elders.  The Covenant Class will give you a clear picture of what Creekside is all about and what it means to be a family member of this local expression of the body of Christ.  As you will discover, we have moved away from using the word "membership" because we believe your membership in the body of Christ universal is granted by your coming to faith in Christ.  We believe that your commitment to this local church body should be based on love.  Will you love others here and commit yourself to them relationally?  If so, we believe it is fair and biblical to ask men and women to enter into a covenant relationship with others who have made the same commitment.  Of course, it is very important to be in agreement with doctrine and vision.   But the one thing that will make your experience here fruitful will be your willingness to enter into long lasting committed relationships with others... your friends and coworkers in life and ministry.  This is a time to gain a real sense as to who we are as a people and start the process of discovering authentic connections with others here at Creekside.
